NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME
The Club holds affiliation status and receives welcome support from the Dorset Golf Union and the Ladies Golf Union. We have a membership of over 200 members and you do not need a handicap to join but you do need to join to get a handicap. we offer a range of memberships to suit everyone.
Existing members can always be approached to 'mark your card' to obtain a handicap and the secretary maintains a list of those members willing to play the necessary rounds with new members to enable them to get their handicap. The fixture list of both Men's and Ladies sections is busy during the season and we are always on the lookout for new talent to rejuvenate the team! Captains' days and charity events are also held along with fun days to encourage membership and to make new acquaintances, meet non members, learn etiquette, and improve their enjoyment of the game.
The juniors are also encouraged by holding their own days as well as joining in some adult events.
Joining the Club attracts a 10% discount on clubhouse bar and food prices subject to a minimum amount 'held' on their card. There is also a reciprocal arrangement with the Golf Range to get a discount on range balls before a competition to enable that swing to be grooved before the serious stuff starts!
